Snack Shack Closing Procedure

The snack shack closing should be performed by a WYBSA board member.
Please arrive by 7:45 PM and plan availability through 8:15 PM.


Clean Equipment

Popcorn Machine

  • Wipe out all excess kernels and popcorn.
  • Wipe the doors, floor, and walls with soap and water.

Pizza Warmer

  • Clean and remove the crumbs off the bottom.
  • Wipe the shelves with a Clorox wipe.

Pretzel Warmer

  • Wipe, clean, and remove the salt.
  • Wipe the doors, floor, and walls with a Clorox wipe.

Hot Dog Steamer

  • Clean with soap and water.
  • Wipe out with paper towels.

Clean Snack Shack

  • Wipe down all the counters.
  • Sweep the floor.

Cash Out and Deposit

Count and Prepare Cash

  • Count the money.
  • Fill out the cash slip.
  • Prepare money for the next shift:
Denomination Amount to Leave
$1 bills $50 (50 Bills)
$5 bills $50 (10 Bills)
$10 bills $50 (5 Bills)

Deposit

  • Place the extra cash in a yellow envelope with a bank deposit slip.
  • Make the deposit slip out to WYBSA Concessions.
  • Seal the envelope and sign your name over the seal.
  • Deposit the cash in the deposit bin at the Wrentham Co‑Op Bank.

Close Snack Shack

  • Make sure everything is OFF.
  • Shut the lights OFF.
  • Shut the doors.
  • Verify the trailers are LOCKED.
